Every developed country with negotiated drug pricing still somehow has a functioning pharma industry, so I don't think that trade-off is as automatic as it's presented.

You can support enforcement of the law and still be uncomfortable with due-process shortcuts in how it's carried out — those are separate questions. This bill is mostly about the second one.

Agree with Dana. Two people on my team got laid off last month and the "official" numbers still look fine. The lag on this data is the whole problem.
